While employed at J.H. Boone, Inc. as a painter, sculpture repair artist, and warehouse manager, I offered to lend my skills at computerized document creation to design them another new catalog. Instead of scattering images all over the pages, I decided to group similar items in their own bounding boxes, individually stencilling each original photograph. The embossed bounding boxes were superimposed over a blurred scan of a marble cutting board. Once drop shadows were illustrated for each item (using Adobe Photoshop), descriptive text was added with Adobe PageMaker.
