Photo on the left is original scan, which suffered from severely cracked, scratched and dirty emulsion. At some point, print was trimmed to fit a picture frame. First, the image was extended on all sides, then the cleanup began. Color space was converted to black and white and new prints were made. Retouching done with Adobe Photoshop.
