Original sculpture created as part of a line of Nature Illuminaires for J.H. Boone, Inc. Sculpture is completely hollow, allowing luminance by either lighted candle, or electric lamp. Sculpture is composed of a fired clay tree trunk shell, squirrel was added with Super Sculpey. Acorn molds were created from samples found in my backyard, then Super Sculpey was pressed into them, trimmed, baked, and glued to the back of the luminaire.
